Hammond-Harwood House, built in 1774, argued to be the most exquisite home remaining from Colonial times.
Chase-Lloyd House, dating back to 1769-1774, construction was started for Samuel Chase, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The main floor and gardens are open to the public.
