The Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is an outdoor stadium located near the United States Naval Academy. Built in 1959 and renovated in 2004; the stadium is mainly used for football games, but to retain neutrality, the Army vs. Navy game is never played here. It is also used for lacrosse games for the Navy Midshipmen and the Washington Bayhawks. Several soccer games were hosted during the 1984 Summer Olympics. The stadium's capacity is 34,000 with an attendance record of 37,970 for a game against the Pitt Panthers; Navy lost that game 42-21.
